Giorgio`s NY Pizzeria in Denver

This restaurant and the staff provided one of the worst experiences I have had in all of 2019 & 2020! Worse yet, it was for absolutely no reason other than they did not care about customer service, were disorganized, the food was undone when finally received, the staff were extremely rude and argued in front of customers and served food to customers that came in after us. We paid for our drinks and I could not even get a receipt and when they said they would email one, no such luck. I have tried calling their publically published phone numbers (multiples) from their Google Plus page and Yelp and BOTH PHONE NUMBERS ARE DISCONNECTED!!! I would encourage EVERYONE to pass on this restaurant and give other small, locally owned restaurants your money and opportunity!

The sign says "Worth the wait" and I say it's half right. Saturday evening timeframe for two small pizzas was 35-40 minutes for pickup. It took over an hour. Worth it? For the supreme pizza (no olives) yes absolutely. Best supreme I've ever had. Great meat, lots of veggies and delicious sauce to cheese ratio. Crust was nice and chewy, but you could fold it like a NY slice.For the cheese pizza (a staple of ny style), not worth the wait. Way too much sauce and herbs were overpowering. Might as well have skipped the cheese cause we couldnt taste it. I'll give them another shot on a night not so busy. If you're taking a group, order ahead!Maybe next time if we wait another 20 minutes after arriving they'll offer a free soda or something. So close to 5 stars!

Pretty good pizza. But I especially love their calzones. I highly recommend if you are ever in the area.

I believe there are new owners, at least I hope. This was our go-to but something changedChicken wings were smaller then what you get at dominosEven worse was our white pizza. I don’t believe there was any sauce, it was basically very overpriced cheese bread. This will be the last time we visit. Sorry to see a good one go.Edit - To owners response. (not sure how to inline edit here, if even possible). Thank you genuinely for following up. I can appreciate the change in tide and I will absolutely take you up on your offer. Reading your other responses I believe you have righted the ship and look forward to another visit. My family and I will be in soon to give this another go.

When we first moved in across the street we really liked this place but it has gone downhill in a big way. Slowww service and they changed a bunch of menu items and changed my favorite creamy Italian dressing! My last sub was cold and the bread was stale.

Best PIZZA EVER Period I see people complaining about the wait but it wasn't that long for me and you can taste the freshness in the dough! Amazing pizza and gyros. This has to be my new go-to for anything Italian would give 10 stars if I could.
